Alison graduated from the University of Ottawa with her Juris Doctor degree. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Brock University, where she majored in Psychology.
An active volunteer, Alison has conducted research for the Human Rights Research and Education Centre at the University of Ottawa, facilitated dialogues between high risks youth and police officers, and researched human trafficking patterns for the Centre for Human Rights and Development in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. In previous employment, she worked in a criminal defence setting, where she had the opportunity to prepare an Application for Leave to Appeal to the Supreme Court of Canada.
Before law school, she spent 11 years teaching ballet at a dance studio in St. Catherine’s.
She brings energy and advocacy skills that will surely benefit our firm’s clients during her articling term.
