Olivia Ross-Fichtner is the backbone of our firm. As our Law Clerk, she is essential in managing files, clients, scheduling, and remand courts. Originally from Peel Region, Olivia is a graduate of the University of Guelph, holding an Honours Bachelor of Arts with a Double Major in Criminal Justice & Public Policy and Political Science.
After graduating from Guelph, Olivia attended Conestoga College, graduating from the Paralegal Program with Distinction. An adept researcher, she is a double threat, also possessing advocacy skills in the courtroom. Additionally, while attending Conestoga College, Olivia was a Paralegal Program Advisory Committee Student Representative, advocating for her peers with the institution, with the ultimate goal of contributing to the betterment of the program. Her advocacy experience makes her a perfect fit with Heighton, Soehner LLP.
Prior to joining our firm, Olivia was a Legal Administrative Secretary with the Ministry of the Attorney General, where she obtained the invaluable experience in dealing with the public and members of the criminal justice system, while gaining a “behind the scenes” experience of how the Crown Attorney’s Office operates.
When she is not busy managing our bustling practice, Olivia is an active hockey player and music aficionado, with an enviable collection of records spanning many genres.
